Prawns in butter Garlic sauce with Spaghetti

Luscious pink prawns cooked in butter and garlic, Ah! deglazed with white wine, and served with spaghetti.


  1. Prawns (de-veined)
  2. Spaghetti
  3. Butter
  4. olive oil
  5. parsley
  6. cherry tomatoes
  7. salt
  8. red chili flakes.


  1. Lightly salt water in a large pan, add a little oil, put spaghetti to boil.
  2. Finely chop garlic and parsley.
  3. Cut tomatoes in halves.
  4. In a frying pan, add some olive oil and heat. Add prawns.
  5. Let them cook till pink in colour. Keep stiring.img_20160405_202241.jpg
  6. Now add butter and garlic.
  7. Add tomatoes when butter is fully melted and garlic has done it’s magic.
  8. Season with salt and red chilly flakes.
  9. Keep tossing. Add Parsley. Once tomatoes become soft deglaze with white wine.img_20160405_202259.jpg
  10. Keep heating till you get a nice sauce.
  11. the spaghetti must be ready by now. drain and add it to the sauce.img_20160405_202145.jpg

  2. The first time I had a similar dish; Prawns and Pasta, my taste buds started dancing. Loce it!!!! I will try adding teh cherry tomatoes. sounds like a good idea!!
