Green Oats Cheele

Straight to the recipe!


  1. 1 cup oats (flour)
  2. salt
  3. red chilly flakes
  4. peas
  5. carrot
  6. parsley
  7. cooking soda
  8. water


  1. Start with oats flour. I made mine by churning in food processor.
  2. Add finely chopped carrots.img_20160203_185333.jpg
  3. Make a paste of peas and parsley, throw in.img_20160203_185337.jpg
  4. add salt, chilly flakes and soda.
  5. Start mixing by slowly adding water.img_20160203_185840.jpg
  6. Make a nice smooth batter.
  7. leave for 10 minutes. The oats soak up the water and the batter will become thick again.
  8. Heat a non stick pan.
  9. Drop in a heap of batter, and use gravity to let it spread across.
  10. once cooked from one side, flip. You can use butter at this stage.img_20160203_191902.jpg
