Andaloo, an Egg in Potato


I’m back from vacation and I’m cooking! I was thinking of this from a long time, and finally baked it. It’s a simple recipe, feast for eyes and tongue and can be used in diet, nearly 50% carbs and 50% proteins.

Ingredients

  1. one large potato
  2. one large egg
  3. black pepper
  4. salt
  5. olive oil / butter
  6. mozzarella cheese.

How to

  1. Take a large potato, chop off the end from the longer side.
  2. scoop out the potato, and leave a evenly thick shell, about 5mm thick.
  3. Season with Salt, pepper and olive oil.wpid-img_20150726_155716.jpg
  4. Break an egg inside the shell.
  5. You can chop off a slice from the bottom of the egg so that it can stand on its own, before breaking the egg.

  7. bake the whole thing for about 20-25 minutes at 220 C.wpid-img_20150726_175335.jpg
  8. Slice and Serve

EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It can be served with Italian basil chutney.
